Hoya 'Silver Moon' (AH-074)

is highly coveted for its thick, waxy, succulent leaves that sport heavy silver marbling. Under bright light, the silver sheen can entirely take over the foliage, giving the plant a luminous, frosted appearance. It offers the ultimate "silver plant" aesthetic without the fussy, high-maintenance attitude. This cultivar is also celebrated for flowering profusely even at a young age. It rewards growers with spherical clusters of fuzzy,  pale pink to white, star-shaped flowers, often accompanied by a sweet scent.

Believed to be a Hoya carnosa derived cultivar, its roots trace back to the tropical and subtropical regions of Eastern Asia and Australia. In the wild, it lives as a semi-epiphytic vine, anchoring itself to tree trunks and limbs high up in the forest canopy. It is naturally adapted to catching filtered, bright sunlight and experiencing quick tropical downpours followed by rapid drying in the open breeze.
